Why Flossing is Important.

MAKE FLOSSING A HABIT:   Flossing is an essential part of good oral health. Flossing removes food particles and plaque from the areas where your toothbrush can't reach. Make flossing a part of your daily routine. Keep flossing your teeth even if you are worried about the Coronavirus. This is especially important in case you need to delay a visit during these challenging times. Flossing every day will help keep your teeth strong and healthy until your next dental visit.

Do you know what the five most important reasons are for flossing?

Flossing is a crucial step in preventing cavities. Floss your teeth every day to help avoid getting cavities in between teeth.

Plaque on your teeth can lead to gum disease. Regular flossing can help reduce gum disease by removing plaque that forms along the gum line.

Diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, strokes, heart disease, and even respiratory disease have all been linked to gum disease. Preventing gum disease will help cut down your risk of these serious conditions.

Stop bad breathe by removing the trapped bits of food in between your teeth.

A clean, bright smile is important to your oral health. Remove food particles from between your teeth.
